At the Picturehouse: Maradona

If you’re looking for something a little different to watch this week, the Picturehouse at Reel Cinemas in The Dubai Mall is showing Maradona, the documentary on possibly the greatest ever footballer by award-winning Serbian filmmaker Emir Kusturica.

Obviously, there’s a lot of talk about his little handball during a game with England in 1986, but there’s a large part on Maradona the man. Which means you’ll get to see pictures of him when he was hilariously chubby and had a rather unhealthy fondness for Bolivian marching powder. Go see now. And hurry, it’s only on until Feb 11.
